Consider Buying A Netbook

Noetbooks aren’t necessarily for everyone, but they are definitely ideal for students and those who must travel. Also, they are ideal for anyone on a tight budget. Netbooks weight less the three pounds and they are laptops that cost less than $500. They are lightweight and are the ultra portable computer.

Most netbooks come ready for wi-fi, which is convenient for obvious reasons. The screen size will be smaller, about 10″, which can be seen as blessing or a curse. The keyboard, which is roughly nine tenths the size of a full keyboard can be seen the same way. Generally, men with larger hands hate them, where women with dainty hands find them just right.

There is a lot more to consider regarding a netbook, though. The battery life is a great place to start. The main advantage of the netbook is that they are so portable. The battery can last a long time, but you need to make sure that you get one that will last long enough for you. You can choose between a 3cell and 6cell battery. A 6cell will last twice as long, but a 3cell can be adequate, with up to four hours of battery life, if your use it lightly. If you are going to be watching videos and listening to music, or anything else that will take a lot of power, then you will want to go for a 6cell. Also, if you are going to be away from a plug all day, you better go with a 6cell. Of course, you cannot overlook the actual computing. You will want at least 1GB hard drive and the latest processor available. Also, you will want the maximum memory allowance, since that will determine the speed.

If you are looking for a netbook on a shoestring budget, there is plenty that you can do. You can look for refurbished netbooks, but some of the technology will be a little older.  Unless you are a techno-whiz, you probably won’t notice, but it is something to keep in mind. You can also choose to get a used one, but again, you will be looking at older technology. However, these may come with more accessories, like a folding laptop table. If you are willing to wait for a deal, there are usually back to school and Christmas specials where you can get very good new netbooks for a very low price.
