In another one of my articles, I have talked about the cool Star Wars USB lightsaber lamp. Unknown to many including perhaps Star Wars fans as well, there are many cool usb desk toys that were created from the Star Wars theme. For example in this article, I am going to talk about the R2 D2 Star Wars USB hub toy.
Do you know much about Star Wars? Star Wars was created by George Lucas and was one of the first science fiction movies to be ever produced and directed. With more laid back technology back then, George Lucas was still able to create a fantastic trilogy of Star Wars movies and garner plenty of fans worldwide. As the response to the movies were so good, George Lucas even created a separate trilogy of another three movies to act as the prequel of the original Star Wars trilogy. These were known as Episodes One to Three, with the earlier three movies being labelled as Episodes Four to Six. The earlier movies were also re-digitised with their special effects enhanced.
Many people love the many different characters in Star Wars. For this USB toy, it is a R2 D2 Star Wars USB hub toy. R2 D2 is one of the droids or robots from the good guys. He is a good friend of C3PO, another droid who belongs to Luke Skywalker. While R2 D2 makes beeping sounds, C3PO can talk and converse in many languages. R2 D2’s specialty is acting as a co-pilot during flying of space jets, hacking computer terminals and also projecting halographic images for transmission of messages. This R2 D2 usb hub mimics the beeping noises made by R2 D2. If you do not like R2 D2, you would be happy to know that you can get a similar Star Wars hub but as a Darth Vader figure.
